What to Expect


A home inspection takes an average of three to four hours, depending upon the size, age and condition of the home.

A newer large home may only take two hours despite being 4,000 square feet because of few issues with wear and tear. An older 1,000 square foot home may take four hours due to issues of wear on many systems of the home.

Many factors determine the length of the inspection. It is most important that an inspection is thorough regardless of the time it takes.
